Newsflash:

Diversity Visa Lottery 2013 Starts Oct. 4, 2011

The entire editorial team of the U.S. Immigration News is happy to echo the U.S. Department of State by announcing to all our readers that the entry period to the Diversity Visa Lottery 2013 will start on October 4, 2011 and end on November 5, 2011.

According to the instructions for entry into the program, “The congressionally mandated Diversity Immigrant Visa Program is administered on an annual basis by the Department of State and conducted based on United States law, specifically Section 203(c) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). This law provides for a class of immigrants known as ―diversity immigrants,‖ with visas made available to persons from countries with historically low rates of immigration to the United States. For fiscal year 2013, 50,000 diversity visas will be available.”

In addition to natives of all other eligible countries, natives of South Sudan and Poland will be added this year to the eligibility list.  Natives of  BANGLADESH, BRAZIL, CANADA, CHINA (mainland-born), COLOMBIA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, ECUADOR, EL SALVADOR, GUATEMALA, HAITI, INDIA, JAMAICA, MEXICO, PAKISTAN, PERU, PHILIPPINES, SOUTH KOREA, UNITED KINGDOM (except Northern Ireland) and its dependent territories, and VIETNAM are ineligible to apply. It should be noted that Bangladesh has been added to the ineligibility list and Poland moved to the eligibility list.

The Law Office of Joseph Famuyide will help all immigrants in the U.S. and their loved ones abroad apply to the DV 2013. This is the easiest way to get green card. Please use the form in this newspaper, call the Law office of Joseph Famuyide for the form or complete and print the form on my website www.attorneyfamuyide.com The DV 2013 is free, but my office charges $25 per application regardless of family size. We will help enhance you chance of wining through compliance with the DV 2013 requirements. Some of our clients who applied through the office won the newly released DV 2012. You could be a winner too.

Let me encourage all immigrants in the United States - if you have no green card and you are from an eligible country, please apply now and worry later about whether or not you will be able to get the green card in the U.S. Do not let anyone discourage you from applying because the law guiding the realization of the proceeds of winning is still in the future.

Please note that the entry period to the DV 2013 this year will be for only one month. Towards the end of October 2011, access to the website may be difficult because of volume. The earlier you apply, the better. Please use the form in this newspaper or visit Attorney Famuyide’s office immediately or call 718-647-6767 for forms. The program will start on October 4, 2011 and end on November 5, 2011. The filing will be done electronically on the internet following the DV Lottery rules as stipulated in the law.

Please note that winners will not be informed by mail. The result will be released online and every applicant will need to use their confirmation numbers to check the result around May 2012. It is very imperative that you print your confirmation number and keep it safe; otherwise you will not be able to find out if you are a winner.

As was reported in our last issue, 19 million people applied to the DV 2012, it appears that more people are going to apply to DV 2013 because of the Obama administration’s failure to pass any immigration law. One thing is certain this year; there will be a mad rush to file because of the length of the application period. It is important that you apply early to avoid the rush. My office is now open to assist you to file. We charge $25 per application for our services.

Although no one can guarantee that any applicant will win, it is imperative that each application is properly filed before an applicant can have any chance of winning. We will file your application according to the rules and give you the chance you need to win. All your loved ones abroad could send their passport photos and information to us electronically. Once you pay us, we will file and send your confirmation number to you immediately.

The DV Lottery program has ushered in another opportunity for 50,000 immigrants from all over the world to obtain permanent resident status when the result is released next year. This might be your opportunity to benefit from the D.V. Lottery visa program.

USI News, therefore, encourages all immigrants to apply to the lottery program this year. It is important to apply for all your friends and families all over the world except those from countries that are not qualified. All immigrants have ample time to call their loved ones abroad and get their passport photos and information.

The problem with most immigrants is that they usually start things late. If you want your loved ones to have a chance of migrating to the United States, you will need to contact them now to send their passport photos and those of their children to you. There is no need for any signature as applications are submitted electronically. If you do not know how to convert the photos to the proper resolution and size, do not attempt to help yourself. Do not foreclose your chance of winning. My office will help you.

The requirement for claiming benefits of the lottery visa after winning is very simple. Every winner must have either a high school education or its equivalent- defined as successful completion of a 12-year course of elementary and secondary education; OR two years of work experience within the past five years in an occupation requiring at least two years of training or experience to perform. It must be noted that GED is not regarded as an equivalent of high school education for the purposes of the diversity lottery visa.

Beware of scam artists who are out there to exploit immigrants with a promise that they could help you win.
