Newsflash:

”God Is In The Midst Of It …” (Psalm 46:5)

eagernessAfter a hard day’s work of preaching, Jesus invited disciples to come into a boat and cross over to the other side. The bible records that soon after they began sailing, a windstorm arose and their boat was already getting filled with water, which made the situation very dangerous.

Storm of life can arise even in the lives of believers, but it does not mean that Jesus has forsaken them or He cannot handle their matter.

This means even people who are faithful can still experience problems of life; and during the experience, they may fear and fidget.

As a matter of fact, Jesus already prepared Christians for what would happen, He said, “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world"– John 16:33.  Please do not allow anyone to tell you that Christians won’t experience troubles of life; that would be a lie. You will go through something, but Jesus said He has overcome it for you. He means you will overcome because of the Cross, His blood and His name.

Listen, God did not spare Daniel from the lion’s den, but God was in the midst of the den – to rescue him. God did not prevent the three Hebrews from entering into the fiery furnace, but He was in the midst of it with them; hallelujah. God may allow you to experience some issues, but be of good courage; He is in the midst of it. He will see you through and deliver you. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but God delivers them from all the troubles (Ps. 34:19).

Are you having a hard time with your mortgage, school, children, marriage, health, spirituality, finances, etc? So long as you remember that Jesus is in the boat of your life, just call Him. He will rise to your help. Psalm 30:5 affirms that joy cometh in the morning.

Step to take while experiencing troubles of life:

  • Callout to the Master Jesus (Luke 8:24), because He is in the boat of your life – Ps. 46:5.
  • Though the Master may appear to be asleep, have faith (Lk. 8:25) that the Master (Jesus) will rescue you as your present help in time of need (Ps. 46:1).
  • Do not stay in fear, Jesus will still speak PEACE into your situation (Mk. 4:39).

Remember, whatever you are going through as a born again Christian, God is in the midst of it.
